Refunded Lineups & Reasons
If your Lineup was automatically Refunded, it was because to one of the following reasons:
• Ineligible Due to DNPs: If DNPs leave your lineup with only one pick, or all picks are from the same team, it will be canceled, and your entry fee refunded.
• Board Error: A projection mistakenly left on the board after a game starts will cause affected lineups to be canceled and refunded.
• Platform Error: A projection or pick direction mistakenly left on the board and/or player card due to a platform error, bug, or irregularity.
What happens if a selected player becomes injured during the game/event?
Arena Picks contests do not offer injury protection (or "Rescues"). Once a contest is submitted and the applicable lock time has passed, all entries are considered final. If a selected player becomes injured, withdraws, leaves the game early, or is otherwise unable to participate for the full duration of the event, no refunds, credits, cancellations, or adjustments will be issued. All outcomes will be settled based solely on official statistics and results as recorded for the portion of the event in which the player participated.
Active Players
An "active player" on Arena refers to an athlete who is in the official lineup for a given game and whose statistical performance for that game can be used in an Arena lineup. To find the specific active players available for picks right now, you need to check the official Arena app, as the list changes daily based on real-time games, injuries, and available projections. Per the Rescue Policy on Arena, all picks will be valid if a player plays in a game, even if they exit early due to injury or otherwise. Read more via the "Rescue Policy" in the FAQ section.
Inactive Players
If a player is officially inactive, the pick will be graded as a void. If a player does not play in the game, their projections will be marked as "DNP" (Did Not Play) and that pick will be voided from the user lineup.
Player Rules per League
• Football: If a player is officially inactive, the pick will be graded as a void. If a player does not play in the game, their projections will void.
• Basketball: Whether officially active or inactive, if the player plays 0 minutes, they will be treated as inactive, and all picks for that player will be considered Void.
• Baseball: If a batter doesn't start in the specified game all picks for that player will be considered void. If a pitcher does not start the game but comes on in relief, their pick will be scored.
• Hockey: Any player not active for the game will have their entries graded as a Void. A goalie who does not start will have their entries graded as a Void, even if they come in as a substitute.
• Golf: If the player does not finish the round (for any reason), their entry will be graded as void.
• Soccer: Whether officially active or inactive, any player not named in the official starting lineup will be treated as inactive, and all picks for that player will be voided. If a match requires extra time (an additional 30 minutes) to decide a winner, those stats are excluded. Entries are settled based on regular 90-minute play plus stoppage time, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Goals scored or saves during penalty shootouts are not counted toward player statistics.
Postponed & Suspended Games
Postponed Games If a game is postponed or not started at the original time and the completion of that game occurs more than 48 hours from the scheduled start time, all selections will be void.
For all team sports, if the scheduled venue is changed after an entry is placed all selections will be void. For NFL, if the game isn’t played during the scheduled week, all selections will be void.
Suspended Games Games that are postponed for rain, weather, or any other reason, prior to starting will be void unless they are played on the originally scheduled day (local time). If a game is suspended after starting, selections will be graded only if the game is resumed within 36 hours of the original start time. All selections are void unless the outcome of was unequivocally determined before the game was suspended. (For example: Selections for “Aaron Judge to Hit a Home Run” will be graded as winners if Judge hits a 1st inning HR and the game is suspended in the 3rd inning and rescheduled for the following week.)
However, PGA and Golf Pick'em picks impacted by suspended rounds that resume the next day will remain active and be scored upon completion of the round.
In tennis, if any market does not reach its natural conclusion (e.g. the end of a game/point for a game/point market via disqualification or retirement/walkover), bets will be void unless the market has already been determined, or unless otherwise stated.
Shortened games that are still official will score as usual and be counted toward entries.
