Official Scoring

How Lineups Win

Arena Picks is a peer-to-peer daily fantasy sports contest. Your lineup competes in a group against other users with the same pick count. Payouts are predefined and disclosed before you submit.

Scoring

All picks must be correct to win your group. Pays out immediately — guaranteed, regardless of what other users in your group do.

• 2 of 2 correct = 3x the entry fee

• 3 of 3 correct = 5x the entry fee

• 4 of 4 correct = 10x the entry fee

• 5 of 5 correct = 20x the entry fee

In cases where no lineup in your group achieves a Perfect Win (all picks correct), a conditional Fallback Win may apply. See Fallback Win (conditional) rules below.

Points

In Arena, you get points based on the accuracy of your picks.

• Projection Win: 1 point

• DNP (Did Not Play): 0 points (Reverts your lineup down that pick)

• Push (Tied Projection): 0 points (*See special Push rules below)

• Loss (Incorrect Pick): 0 points

Your lineup’s total score is the sum of all pick scores.

Pushes and DNPs

If a player ends the game with exactly their projected stat line, this is considered a Push (tied projection). A Push is neither a correct pick nor an incorrect pick — and it is not the same as a DNP (whereby the player does not play in the matchup). While both a Push and a DNP remove the pick from your lineup, they are treated differently in certain situations (see below).

2-Pick lineups only:

• 1 correct + 1 Push → automatic 1.5x payout

• 1 loss + 1 Push → Loss

• 1 correct or loss + 1 DNP → Refund

3-5 Pick lineups:

A Push (tied projection) or DNP (player did not play) voids that pick and removes it from your lineup. Your remaining active picks determine your outcome:

• All remaining active picks correct → Win at the payout rate for your active pick count

• Any loss present → Loss

Push: Disqualifies your lineup from a Fallback Win. A lineup with a Push and all remaining active picks correct already wins at the perfect rate for that reduced pick count — which is better than Fallback.

DNP: Does not disqualify your lineup from a Fallback Win. You remain Fallback-eligible as long as all other conditions are met.

DNP Refund Rule: If a DNP leaves your lineup with only one active pick remaining, or all remaining active picks are from the same team, your lineup is ineligible and you will receive an automatic refund. A Push does not trigger this — the pushed pick is simply removed and your lineup plays on.

Contest Visibility

Group rankings and scores are hidden during the week and are revealed once the weekly contest ends.

• Weekly contests conclude Sunday at 11:59 PM ET

• Group rankings become visible after final settlement

Winning lineups may be paid earlier, but rankings are shown only after all games in the contest window have concluded.

Fallback Win (conditional)

A Fallback Win only applies when every lineup in your group has at least one incorrect pick. If anyone in your group goes perfect, there are no Fallback Wins — period.

When Fallback Applies

A Fallback Win is a secondary payout that only applies when no lineup in your group achieves a Perfect Win (all picks correct). It is not a guaranteed consolation payout — it is a rare group-level outcome that benefits users when an entire group falls short of perfect.

If any lineup in your group is perfect, there are no Fallback Wins. Perfect Lineup winners take the group and all other lineups are graded as losses regardless of how close they came.

When Fallback Applies

If every lineup in your group contains at least one incorrect pick, Arena evaluates fallback eligibility. To qualify your lineup must:

• Contain zero Pushes (DNPs are allowed — a DNP does not disqualify you from Fallback)

• Clear the minimum correct picks for your lineup size

Fallback Payout

Think of Fallback as a perk, not a plan. Build your lineup to go perfect. If your group happens to fall short and you cleared the threshold, Fallback has you covered. Again, if any lineup in your group is perfect, there are no Fallback Wins. Perfect Lineup winners take the group and all other lineups are graded as losses regardless of how close they came.

Lineup Size - Fallback Payout - Requires

• 2-Pick - 1.5x - 1 correct + 1 Push — auto-payout

• 3-Pick - 1.5x - 2 of 3 correct, zero Pushes (DNPs allowed)

• 4-Pick - 2x - 3 of 4 correct, zero Pushes (DNPs allowed)

• 5-Pick - 3x - 4 of 5 correct, zero Pushes (DNPs allowed)

Fallback Timing

Fallback Wins require confirmation that no lineup in your group went perfect. Arena verifies this at the close of the weekly contest window — Sunday at 11:59 PM ET. If your group had no perfect lineup and you cleared the minimum threshold, your Fallback Win payout is processed at that time. The 2-Pick Fallback (1 Win + 1 Push) is the only exception: it pays automatically upon settlement, no group confirmation required. Think of Fallback as a perk, not a plan.

Why Don’t I See Live Scoring on My Lineup?

Live scoring is available for select leagues and stat types on Arena. Currently, live scoring is supported for most stat types in leagues such as NFL, College Football, NBA, WNBA, MLB, College Basketball, and NHL.

Why Is the Live Scoring on My Lineup Different From Other Sources?

Live scoring on Arena is designed to provide a convenient snapshot of your lineup's progress but is not an official scorekeeping tool. Any discrepancies with official scoring will be reconciled after the game concludes using official league box scores and stats.

Can I Dispute Your Scoring?

Arena only uses stats provided by official league sources or trusted third-party providers. We do not adjust payouts based on alternative scoring sources, such as video recordings or unofficial data.

What Happens if the Official Stats Are Changed After They Are Initially Posted?

Lineup results are determined based on the stats provided by our official scoring partners at the time the event concludes. Any subsequent changes to official league stats will not affect settled lineups. However, Arena reserves the right to retroactively issue corrections for clear and obvious scoring errors. These cases will be evaluated at our sole discretion.

What if Arena Uploads an Incorrect Score?

While we strive for accuracy, occasional mistakes can occur. If Arena uploads an incorrect score that impacts payouts, all affected lineups will be resettled to reflect the correct stats.

Minor adjustments to official stats are a standard procedure in some sports and do not qualify as errors. All lineups are settled based on the originally posted stats as outlined above.
